The 2022 INCITE Call for Proposals is now open through June 18, 2021. The INCITE program is seeking proposals for high-impact, computationally intensive research campaigns in a broad array of science, engineering, and computer science domains. The open call provides an opportunity for researchers to pursue transformational advances in science and technology through large allocations of computer time and supporting resources at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) and the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (OLCF). The INCITE program will award up to 60% of the allocations time on Summit, the OLCF’s 200-petaflop IBM AC922 machine, and Theta, the ALCF’s 12-petaflop Cray XC40 system. A new ALCF resource will be available in 2022, Polaris. Additionally, the coming exascale systems Aurora (ALCF) and Frontier (OLCF) will be available for out-year requests.
To help you prepare your proposal for submission, the INCITE program invites you to participate in an INCITE Proposal Writing Webinar. Free and open to the public, the webinars will provide both prospective and returning users the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on how to write an effective INCITE proposal. The sessions will be led by the INCITE program manager and representatives from the ALCF and OLCF.
