Solomon Bekele is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Performance Engineering team of Argonne Leadership Computing Facility. His research focuses on heterogeneous programming models for HPC, but his research interests also encompass Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems.

Solomon received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. A large part of his recent work during his Ph.D. focused on performance-energy optimization in high-performance computers and embedded systems from a resource contention perspective.

His research interests also includes the following:

• Performance and Power modeling for applications running on the HPC
• ML-based Automation
